Just be my brother

Hrm.

“So when you think about guys, in a pants-on sort of way,” I asked, “do you think about romance?”

“Picnics on the beach? that kind of thing? Sometimes.”

(Later)

“‘Cause I love you more than I can ever say. And I’m not sure anymore that it’s all brotherly love.”

Silence.

(Later)

“I’d do anything I can to make you feel better.” He’s got a cold this week.

“Purrr. Just be my brother,” he said.

Feeling a tiny bit … rejected?

Had not expected that. Then again, hadn’t expected to say anything at all.

That was brave. Completely and totally. Good for you for taking that chance.

Was he afraid to go there because of how it might change your friendship / whatever?

Hi I’m new to this site. It sounds like you two have something extremely special together, and it touches me to read this as a straight guy who’s experiencing bi feelings as well. I hope you two are happy whatever you’re doing and continue to be brothers, and I hope to have a relationship like that.

Thanks! We’re pretty happy so far, although we don’t get to hang out nearly as much now as we used to… we live a coulpe hours away, for one thing. I hope everyone has a relationship like this :)
