Astrosexual!
Confession time.
I got a stiffy reading about asteroids today on Wikipedia.
Now, my job is pretty geeky, and I like it. But it doesn’t involve asteroids (unfortunately) and it’s pretty rare that I “react” to what it does involve. So what happened?
There’s a certain combination of sleepiness and … something … that makes it very easy for me to “react”, even when there’s nothing in particular to react to. It usually happens during afternoon seminars, about 4 pm.. I drink the tea… I eat the cookie… I look at the slides… and under the desk… well.
It’s really kinda awkward, or at least I feel awkward about it. I don’t think it’s all that obvious, at least, but it could really give someone the wrong idea. Including “little me”, but he’s already got the wrong idea, or the right idea but the wrong time.
Anyone else run into this sort of thing? Just a nice sex-free bit of arousal?

let me share, i greatly enjoy your blog. this is good stuff.
oddly enough, i find that sometimes, when in my office alone, i’ll be working on some programming and will snap back into reality to realize a semi has invaded my pants.
although, i’m more apt to believe the cause of my excitement was a mixture of having to pee, sitting in a position where the pressure of my jeans pressed on down on the cargo, and i can’t lie, i tend to fondle while i think, it’s a bad habit.

Yeah, the pants pressure (pressing inwards, not outwards) is definitely important. Sometimes it tends to fall down the leg of my jeans (well, in boxers) and then it gets trapped when I sit down. (Which is a lot more fun than it might sound, for any females reading this. There ARE women reading this, right? eager for guys having frank discussions about their favorite anatomy? Sigh.)
I used to fondle while I thought, when I had my own office. Stopped when I realized that my favorite pair of jeans was starting to wear through right there…
I still say mood/sleepiness has a lot to do with feeling “receptive” to the pressure though.
